Why Silver Bullet Exists
Silver Bullet began in the bed of a working truck. Mechanical engineer and outdoorsman Isaac Tussey used his pickup as a mobile workshop, an everyday hauler, and an elk-hunting base camp. Existing drawer systems wasted usable space, made gear harder to reach, and asked owners to accept the same familiar compromises.
I couldn't find the drawer system I wanted, so I engineered and built it. Isaac started with the truck bed's actual geometry: wider storage, access that brings gear to the tailgate, a hard-working platform above, and components designed to be serviced instead of discarded.

I'm Isaac. I grew up in a small farming community in Michigan's Thumb, where trucks, tractors, dirt bikes, and machinery were part of everyday life, and fixing what broke was simply part of the job. That foundation led to a mechanical engineering degree from Michigan Technological University and a career spanning product design, structural aluminum and steel, fabrication, manufacturing, quality control, and production improvement.
The first proof of concept was a rough aluminum platform and divider with a wooden sliding section. It stayed in my truck for about 18 months because it worked. From there, I personally led the CAD, custom extrusion development, drawings, tolerances, fitment, sourcing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and revision that turned the idea into Silver Bullet. Customer feedback still comes back to the same bench where the product is built.
